Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder What You Are?

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, How I wonder what you are?

I got an email today from somebody from the town where I grew up. It was an interesting email that prompted my post for today. In the email she stated that we weren’t friends in high school, and not that I was mean to her, but in fact she didn’t really like me. She went on to say that she had been reading my blog and she was really impressed with the transformation I had made since the olden days. The email really made me begin to think who I was back then, who I was 5 years ago, who I was yesterday, and who I am TODAY!

So to the dear reader who sent me that email,

(You know who you are!) Thank You!

Sticking with my theme of openness and honesty, to completely free myself of old thoughts and conversations I am writing a list of all the things I used to think I was…

  • Unloveable
  • Ugly
  • Fat
  • Not Worthy
  • Not Reliable
  • Selfish
  • Mean
  • Passive Aggressive
  • Weak
  • Un-intelligant
  • Scared
  • Sad and Lonely

Wow, what a list that is, there is more but I think you get the point

Now, here is the list of all the things I AM NOW…..

  • LOVING
  • LOVEABLE
  • CARING
  • DEDICATED
  • FUNNY
  • SMART
  • GIVING
  • DEDICATED
  • DETERMINED
  • ORGANIZED
  • SMART
  • BEAUTIFUL
  • PROUD

So dear friends WHO ARE YOU? WHO WERE YOU? WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE?

I encourage you to comment below, be open and honest with yourself. You will love yourself for acknowledging the good and bad that make you, you!
